(A) Why us (SL Math Education & Tutoring Center) ? Do you feel upset when you don't know how to solve math problems? Are you disappointed with your school's incomprehensible math classes? Are you frustrated with poor math scores? Dr. Liang can help you out. He holds a bachelor degree in math education, and PhDs in math from China and Canada (UWO) respectively. He has fifteen years of experience teaching and tutoring math in both high school and university levels. Combining the divergent thinking of western education with the logical thinking of eastern education, he always teaches math clearly and thoroughly so that students not only understand WHAT but more importantly understand WHY. Over the years, his excellence in math teaching and tutoring has been recognized by students and their parents. (B) Services Offered (1) One-on-one math tutoring to all level (including college and university) students. (2) Grade 9-12 high school math. High school math courses embody the combination of divergent thinking with logical thinking. On the one hand, by mastering the WHAT and WHY of each knowledge point, the students will have a very clear thread and idea for every building block, consequently lay a solid math foundation. On the other hand, by analyzing various problems (from textbooks and math contests), students' ability to solve math problems will be greatly improved. (3) Grade 5-8 math contest courses.
